DADiSP/AdvDSP is a menu-driven module for DADiSP that performs a wide variety of advanced DSP algorithms, including advanced FFT analysis, power spectral density estimation, digital interpolation and cepstrum analysis.
The advanced DSP module is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to do sophisticated signal processing without any programming. Each routine is available through DADiSP's pull-down dialog box menus and as a direct command line function. Extensive on-line help and examples are also provided.
The power spectrum estimation techniques include classical methods as well as autoregressive (AR), moving average (MA), and autoregressive moving average (ARMA) methods. The AdvDSP menus allow you to design the models from measured data and compute the estimates based upon the model coefficients.
DADiSP/AdvDSP provides digital interpolation techniques for changing the sampling rate. The new sampling rate can be any desired rate (it does not need to be an integer multiple of the existing rate). If you are sampling at a very high rate, and are interested in specific frequencies, the advanced FFT analysis functions can save computation time. Analyze specific frequency bands in detail, or the entire frequency range with a specific spacing by using the Zoom FFT and the N-point FFT.
